Our Premium and Standard Remy ranges are sourced from Asia, primarily China, where our manufacturing partners use gentle processing to maintain softness and quality.

Our Russian Range comes directly from Russia and the Ukraine, collected in smaller batches to preserve the hair’s natural texture and longevity.

While the global hair industry is complex, we prioritise working with trusted partners known for their consistency, traceability, and premium standards.

If you receive your extensions and they’re not a perfect match, you can return them for an exchange or refund. However, please ensure you’re satisfied with the colour before removing the extensions from the packaging. For hygiene reasons, hair that has been removed from its packaging cannot be returned or exchanged.

Yes, you can colour or tone your hair extensions using sulphate-
and paraben-free toning shampoos, conditioners, or semi-permanent colour with a developer no higher than 1.5%.

However, we strongly advise against attempting to lighten your extensions with bleach or permanent colour, as this can cause irreversible damage.

Semi-permanent colour coats and enhances the hair, while bleach and permanent dyes penetrate the cuticle, altering or stripping the hair's structure, which can compromise its quality.

Colour with care. Hair extensions tend to absorb colour more quickly and deeply than natural hair. We recommend limiting any colour changes to no more than two levels from the original shade.

• BLEND Standard Remy Hair Extensions have a lifespan of 9-12 months.
• Blend Premium Remy Hair Extensions have a lifespan of 12+months
• BLEND Premium Russian Hair has a lifespan of 18-22months+

The number of packs you’ll need depends on the thickness and length of your hair, as well as your desired look. BLEND packages hair in 50-gram packs, which we classify as a half-head. Below is our guide on the recommended amount for each method.

1 Pack (50g/50 pieces): Ideal for very fine hair or adding thickness

2 Packs (100g/100 pieces): Perfect for a full head application on medium-density hair

3 Packs (150g/150 pieces): Best for thick hair or blunt cuts

4 Packs (200g/200 pieces): Recommended for very thick hair for maximum volume

TAPES

1 Pack (50g/20 pieces): Ideal for fine hair, to fill in gaps or add volume only

2 Packs (100g/40 pieces): Recommended for a full head application on medium-density hair

3 Packs (150g/60 pieces): Best for thick hair or blunt haircuts

4 Packs (200g/80 pieces): Perfect for very thick hair and achieving maximum volume

The lifespan of BLEND hair extensions is directly tied to how well you care for them. By following our maintenance guide, you can enjoy your BLEND Standard Remy Hair for 9-12 months, Premium Remy Hair for 12-15months and BLEND Premium Russian Hair for 18-22+months.

For the best results, we recommend that permanent methods be applied by a certified hairstylist following a thorough consultation. Proper application, regular maintenance, and correct removal are essential to protect your natural hair and scalp from damage.

 The 10 Commandments Of BLEND Hair Extensions

1. Thou Shall Use Oil Every Night

To keep your extensions moisturised, apply a small amount of oil (about the size of a 5-10 cent coin) to your hands and work it through the mid-lengths to ends of your hair.

2. Thou Shall Brush with Care

Use a soft bristle brush to gently detangle the extensions. Always start brushing from the ends and work your way up. At night, braid your hair or secure it in a loose, soft ponytail to prevent tangles. We recommend using a scrunchie or a soft hair tie to avoid kinks.

3. Thou Shall Avoid Sulphates, Protein, and Silicones

Shampoos and conditioners containing sulphates, protein, or silicone can accelerate the aging process of your extensions, leaving them dry and damaged. Always choose products free of these ingredients.

4. Thou Shall Not Brush Wet Hair

Never brush the extensions when wet. Allow your hair to dry to at least 80% before using a soft bristle brush to gently remove any knots. And always avoid sleeping with wet hair to prevent tangling.

5. Thou Shall Keep Up with Maintenance

Schedule regular maintenance appointments every 6-8 weeks for beaded methods, or 5-6 weeks for tape-in methods. This ensures minimal stress and damage to your natural hair and scalp.

6. Thou Shall Use Heat Protectant

Always apply a heat protectant before styling your hair with heat tools. Extensions are coloured to match your natural hair, so they can fade over time. Using a heat protectant helps minimise this. Make sure your extensions are fully dry before styling.

7. Thou Shall Protect Hair Extensions from Salt and Chlorinated Water

Chlorine and saltwater can dry out the hair and cause discolouration. If you plan to swim, a swim cap is the best option. Alternatively, coat the extensions with conditioner, braid your hair, or wrap it in a low bun. After swimming, rinse your hair immediately with fresh water.

Sunscreen products containing Avobenzone and Octocrylenecan cause discolouration in hair, particularly in hair extensions.These ingredients, when exposed to UV rays, can react with the keratin in hair, leading to a pink, peach, or brassy orange hue. Be sure to use sunscreens without these ingredients.

8. Thou Shall Shampoo with Care

Shampoo your hair twice, focusing on the scalp and avoiding folding the extensions on top of your head. Always wash and condition with the hair going in the same direction. Condition only from the mid-lengths to the ends to avoid excess oil. Washing once to twice a week is sufficient to keep your extensions in good condition—this also helps them last longer!

9. Thou Shall Wait 48 Hours After Application

Do not wash your hair for 48 hours after applying tape-in extensions to allow the adhesive to fully bond. This ensures they stay securely in place.

10. Thou Shall Never Reveal You Have Hair Extensions
